I was fascinated and intend to get there and indulge myself (perhaps on Sharron's next visit).

DebAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503494355334157272.post-47775724909184758262009-02-11T12:08:00.000-05:002009-02-11T12:08:00.000-05:00My dear Pixelgal - but of course we knew the price...My dear Pixelgal - but of course we knew the prices in advance ... the price is displayed above each bottle, and your key card records the amount you've spent so you're not in the dark! ;)

Lily - Welcome! It was scrumptious indeed.

Aubreecherie - Welcome, fellow New Yorker! I agree, the museum was great fun and we were really impressed with it. So visually engaging!

Juliet - I'd be embarrassed to admit how often I frequent Bouchon. I loved it! But i'm sort of crafty, so thats probably why i stood and gawked at everything for five minutes each, haha. Also, I'd never heard of that wine bar, it sounds like it would be so much fun!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2503494355334157272.post-1587052426914177272009-02-10T17:21:00.000-05:002009-02-10T17:21:00.000-05:00Sounds like a scrumptious day with your hubby! I guess you knew the price of each in advance....but those of us who are a bit more frugal (read cheap) shudder at the thought. It sounds great though as do the museums and your willpower. Makes us burb people jealous! I'm so glad the husband took a rare weekend off. I think I've only scored a table here once or twice. Usually we sit at the long bar and on Friday we were at the actual bar. Not optimal, but we were hungry!

We like Landmarc too - especially the lovely caramels offered at the end of the meal.
