Happy Weekend!

This week has definitely been a bit crazy ... and it looks like things might get a whole lot crazier tonight ... in a good way!

If anyone's looking for me, I'll be at the Manhattan Cocktail Classic's Kick-Off Gala tonight at the New York Public Library. Woohoo! The City's premiere mixologists will be on hand working their magic and it appears that there will be food pairings as well.

The event is sold out, but if you've got a ticket and will be there ... keep and eye out for me or drop me an email so we can meet-up. Hint, I'll be the one wearing black. ~wink~

Even if you're not going to the Gala, hit up that link for a list of other festive, informative, and boozy events. The Manhattan Cocktail Classic runs from May 14 - 18th, with events in multiple locations.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone and I hope to be back to business as usual with the posting and commenting next week.

Cheers!

p.s. - If you're wondering about that drink in the picture, its my Lavender Lemon Martini and it is magical!

  3. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I want one now. Along with the tray.

have I shared my recipe for a "dork?" It's equal parts Stoli rasberry, and Stoli blackberry, a splash of sprite and a wedge of lemon and a wedge of lime. My huband named it after me during his bartending days.

    have a great weekend!

  6. How come I've never been invited to a gala, much less one for cocktail classics? Will have to console myself with your lavender lemon martini. Hope you had a wonderful time and a great weekend!

  8. Thanks, all! We had a fantastic time! There were 3,000+ people there, it was crazy! Lots of bands, lots of cocktails and very little food. Fortunately, we were smart enough to grab dinner first ... this isn't my first night out, after all!

It was a rockin' good time and I'm already looking forward to next year's event. Sadly, no pictures though, it was way too dark ... and that's probably for the best. ;)

  9. Molly - while I'm laughing at the name ... "the dork" sounds really awesome to me. Will have to try that this summer. Yum!
