Just a quick post to wish everyone a very Happy Spring holiday ... whichever one you are celebrating ... or even if you're not celebrating! The Diva family is preparing to celebrate and one of my tasks today is to recreate the demented little lambie cake I made last year. He may look fluffy and white ... but he's a black sheep on the inside ... dark chocolate to be exact. Yum!
Will post a round-up of our Easter dining festivities on Monday. Until then, I wish you a joyous and wonderful weekend.
Bon appetit!

Thats adoreable!!! Guess you are more then just a pretty face! Have a fantastic weekend :D
I don't know if it's my laptop but I think your sheep-cake is giving me the evil eyes! What a brilliant cake, can't wait to see what you come up with this year.
Happy Spring holiday to yourself, enjoy the break!
Wow Diva, you have excelled yourself with this.... It looks amazing! Yummy!
Have a lovely Easter! X
That sheep cake is really cute. You could also serve it if you ever have people over to watch The Neverending Story!
Absolutely adorable! I've got a thing about sheep and adore lambs. This is way more appealing to me than eggs.
Happy Easter.
Happy Easter to you and the Diva clan. Hope you have a great day.
I have been AWOL for the week, I was in CT visiting Mom. It as a quicky trip with not a lot of spare time so I didn't let you know we'd be there cuz I knew there would be no time to hook up. Maybe next time we can get to the city to see you!

Wow, that's impressive! I have neither the talent nor the patience to make something like that. Great job!!
Hope you're having a lovely Easter weekend. I have to say that the lamb cake is really quite something and I love the fact that it's really a black chocolate sheep in lambs clothing :)
"Diva had a little lamb (cake),
It's fleece was white as snow (icing)
And everywhere that Diva went,
The lamb was sure to be sliced into tasty little servings for all!"
I would love a piece for myself! Next year, how about red velvet . . . ? 8-)
I love, love your lambie cake. He is very cute! I hope you and yours had a wonderful Easter.
LOVE that it's chocolate cake... mmmm coconut and chocolate cake!
I'll let you guys in on a little secret ... the lamb cake is the easiest thing in the world to make. Simply pour the batter into the lamb shaped cake pan and bake! The pan is made by Wilton and its truly a no-brainer. ;)
Thanks for all the lovely comments and I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend!
Deb - I was just about to write you and ask how you're doing. I hope the CT visit went well and no worries ... we were crazed last week and I doubt I could have made it back to CT. Hopefully we'll catch up in person again soon and welcome back! :)
