New Year, Old Issues ...

Forces have conspired against me and I am once again without internet access. I'm not sure when it will be up again, perhaps Friday. I'm posting this note from another locale. Will catch up on email, comments, etc. as soon as I'm back in business ... hang in there with me and let's hope for a speedy fix!

BUMMER! Some days it just makes sense to go back to pen and paper, at least it doesn't crash or become unstable or fail!

Good luck and we look forward to your return to the WWW.

Hey all, I'm back up and running. Turns out the problem was at Verizon's central station and not on my own line. All is well but its the weekend and I'm running about. Will be back to post normally on Monday. Have a great weekend, all!

Sending lots of sympathy - loosing internet is no fun! I hope it returns speedily for you!

I loved your post on the chickpea flour chicken recipe - sounds SO yummy!

I definitely went on a flour craze one time and purchased bulk bags of not just chickpea flour, but also black bean flour and soy flour as well... I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who makes impulsive flour purchases! ;-) I still have yet to figure out what to do with the black bean flour, but I did find the soy and chickpea flours a rather handy way to boost the protein in quick breads and muffins - just substitute 1/4 cup chickpea flour for 1/4 cup of the wheat flour! I hope this helps! :-)

That does help, Astra, thank you! I will try some breads with the chickpea flour ... and I'm glad I'm not the only impulsive shopper too. :)
